Youngsville Academy is seeking an additional, dynamic History Instructor to join our Upper School for the upcoming school year as our school grows!

Youngsville Academy maintains high academic and behavioral expectations and provides a vibrant school community where students are actively involved in college preparatory academics, extracurricular clubs, and athletics.
Class sizes are kept small and the best curricular resources are provided to students and teachers.
We have a dynamic, professional team of History instructors who are capable of teaching at different grade levels. This position will be either Junior High (Grades 6-8) or High School. Candidate should indicate competencies and grade level preferences in application.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a subject matter expert in college-preparatory history (primary sources, philosophy, great works of literature, etc).
- Demonstrate a passion for history with an ability to engage students
- Be seeking to develop a career with Youngsville Academy (applicants seeking a short-term commitment are discouraged from applying)
- Submit a detailed cover letter

- Minimum 2-years of teaching science at a college-preparatory school.
